<strong>ITINERARY:</strong>

<strong>Day 1 Porto – arrival </strong>

Arrival at Porto airport and transfer to your hotel. After checking in you are free to explore Porto on your own.

<strong>Day 2 Porto – walking city tour / 3 hours</strong>
Breakfast at the hotel.

Enjoy 3 hours of the best walking tour of Porto, knowing some off the beaten path places and picturesque streets of the city. On this exclusive walking tour through the streets of the historic centre of Porto (classified as World Heritage by UNESCO since 1996), we invite you to discover this beautiful city “perched” over the river made of old houses that seem to pile up on each other and extending the “river to the sea”. Enjoy the ancient palaces, old churches, the most emblematic neighborhoods, the true locals, and the most picturesque alleys that the city has to offer. To embellish our city, we have the emblematic iron bridge designed by Teófilo Seyrig (apprentice of Gustave Eiffel). Our local storytelling guide will present you the cellars of the famous Port Wine and the iconic Rabelo boats lined up along the pier, preserving the memory of the past, when they were used to transport the wine barrels along the Douro River down to Porto.

Overnight in Porto

<strong>Day 3 Full day “Douro valley “ tour with wine tasting – small group – maximum 8 persons</strong>

Breakfast at the hotel.
Depart from Porto in the morning and get comfortable aboard your minivan for the 1.5-hour scenic drive inland. You’ll stop briefly in Peso da Régua, the capital of the Douro Valley — a UNESCO-listed region known for its production of port wine.
Then, continue to Pinhão and admire the scenery with free time to explore the lovely village independently. Perhaps stroll to the Pinhão train station to view its blue-and-white tile murals depicting the scenic countryside and swathes of vineyards that make up the Douro landscape.
Your tour also includes a Douro River cruise- hop aboard a rabelo boat — a traditional cargo boat native to this region — for a leisurely 1-hour ride. You’ll meander up the Tua river tributary and pass by Quinta da Romaneira before returning to Pinhão.
After a traditional lunch of typical Douro cuisine accompanied by wine at a renowned villa, your guide takes your small group to two family-run estates where you’ll discover local wine making and enjoy a tasting session of award-winning ports and wines.
Stop by the shop to make any purchases before departing the Douro Valley for the relaxing return drive to Porto, arriving at your hotel in the evening.

<strong>Day 4 Full day tour to “Braga and Guimarães” – Small Group (max 8 persons) </strong>

Breakfast at the hotel.
Arriving in <strong>Braga,</strong> we will start by visiting the Bom Jesus Sanctuary and contemplating its magnificent staircase to the top of the church.
After a top view of the city, time to visit the oldest cathedral in the country where we will have exclusive access to the chapels and high choir of the monument.
A delicious traditional Portuguese lunch will be served in a restaurant where you can taste the so famous “Vinho Verde”, produced in the region.
During the afternoon we visit <strong>Guimarães</strong> when we have time for a calm walk on foot through the medieval city where we will enter in his Castle that was known for the birth of a new kingdom: Portugal.
Then, we will visit the Palace of the Dukes where we are dazzled by the luxuries of royalty from other times. A whole history of Portugal will be told by our local guides who have always followed the group
